Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account in Mahsool: Farms of Egypt and exactly what happens to your data afterwards. It is published to meet Google Play's requirement for a public account-deletion page. The app is published and operated under the Google Play and App Store developer account Orders Apps B.V.

1. Delete it from inside the app

This is the primary way to delete your account, and it works for any account that can still sign in.

  1. Open the Mahsool app and sign in.
  2. Tap More in the bottom tab bar.
  3. Tap Profile.
  4. Under Profile, tap Delete account (shown in red).
  5. Enter your current account password to confirm it is really you.
  6. Tap Delete permanently, then confirm again in the dialog that appears.

The password step exists so that nobody but you can close your account.

2. No app installed, or can't sign in? Email us

Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account — or, if you no longer have access to it, tell us your registered email and full name — and ask us to delete your account. We confirm your identity before acting, and we reply once your account has been closed.

3. When deletion has to wait

The app, and support acting on your behalf, both refuse the request while any of the following is true. None of these is Mahsool's to close on request alone:

  • You currently hold a stake in a project company. That holding sits in the company's own register of members, kept at Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry, Egypt's central depository — a statutory record, not a Mahsool one. Exit or transfer the stake first, or contact support and we will walk you through it.
  • A payment call from a project company is still open on your account. Settle it, or withdraw the subscription behind it, then try again.
  • A project company still owes you a distribution that hasn't been paid. Contact support so it reaches you before the account closes.

Once none of these apply, the same request goes through straight away.

4. What deletion actually does

Deleting your account anonymizes it — it does not erase every trace of it, and it cannot be undone. The moment it completes:

  • Your email address is overwritten with a random, unreachable placeholder that can never be reused to sign back in.
  • Your name is replaced with "Deleted account."
  • Your password is removed. Nobody — including you — can sign in to this account again.
  • Any device registered for push notifications is forgotten immediately.
  • Every session, on every device, is ended immediately rather than left to expire on its own.

5. What is kept, and why

  • Your holding, subscription, payment-call and distribution history. A company's register of its members, and the financial record of what it paid and to whom, are records that company law and financial regulation require Mahsool — acting as the company's registrar — to keep. They do not disappear because the Mahsool login attached to them does. What remains is linked only to your anonymized account, and carries none of your original name, email or password.
  • Identity-verification documents, if you ever submitted any, for the anti-money-laundering retention period set out in our Privacy Policy — at least five years.
  • The administrative audit log of actions taken on your account. It is append-only by design, for everyone's protection including yours, so it cannot be edited or erased selectively.

None of what is kept is used to contact you again, or to serve you anything further inside the app.

6. Questions

Reach support at [email protected], or through the More screen inside the app, for anything this page does not answer.
