SBP has said that Digital payments are on rise in Pakistan! With the increasing adoption of digital channels more people are embracing convenience & security of cashless transactions.
The SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) further said on its X account that to Payment Systems Review FY22-23 can be accessed at sbp.org.pk/PS/PDF/FiscalY…It added that Raast continues to gain acceptance among the general public.
More than 31mn Raast IDs have been registered as of Jun 2023.The progress of Electronic Money Institutions has been remarkable with over 2mn e-wallets opened by EMIs since 2022 SBP said.
