A mobile squad of Custom Enforcement DI Khan was attacked last night at 12.30 near Yarik check post (It is near CPEC Motorway Toll Plaza in DI Khan) by the terrorists and three personal of Customs Enforcement killed.
High official of Customs conformed Mahsool.net that the killed officials were comprises 01- Inspector Hasnain
02.Ziyad sepoy 03.Amir sepoy
The Customs officer further told that terrorist also suffered casualty and one injured however they were able to fled from scene.
Later attack on Custom Enforcement Check Post at Tank Road which was repulse by Customs.
The Chairman FBR Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana condemned the incident of firing in D.I.Khan that resulted into casualties of Customs officials while performing anti-smuggling duties.
Tiwana said that FBR and Pakistan Customs are committed to eliminate the menace of smuggling.
Previously on Thursday 18th of April 2024 five officials of the Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Customs (Peshawar) were killed while performing an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) at Daraban Road, near village Sagguu, district Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan).
During the operation, the officials were ambushed by unknown assailants in a
dastardly attack and fired upon with automatic weapons, all five officials killed in the line of duty.
Names of the officials who were killed comprises Intelligence Officer Aslam Khan Shaheed, Havaldar Inayat Ullah Khan Shaheed, Havaldar Akbar Zaman Shaheed, Sepoy Iftikhar Alam Shaheed
, Sepoy Shahab Ali Shaheed.
