All kinds of chemicals and other items will be inspected in this basic laboratory. The traders, customs clearing and forwarding agents gain benefit from this laboratory to gain transparent legal requirements.
This laboratory is established at NLC dry port Quetta following WCO (World Customs international) standards. The laboratory was inaugurated on friday by Chief Collector Customs Balochistan Abdul Qadir Memon. Collector Appraisal Quetta Agha Saeed and other customs officers were presented on the occasion.
The laboratory which is being run mainly with the support of Appraisal West of Custom House. now all types of chemicals, and other items that require examination to facilitate customs value can now be easily done in Quetta.
It should be noted that before this, the business community of Balochistan used to benefit from the laboratories of other provinces of the country. Which takes a lot of time.
Prominent businessmen were also presented on the occasion who thanked the Pakistan Customs terming it as an excellent step.
