Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited (PTC) in first row of companies those honoured by the Government of Pakistan for its exemplary contribution as one of the country’s highest taxpaying company, Syed Ali Akbar MD PTC received the Tax Excellence Awards.
According to details the Prime Minister distributed Tax Excellence Awards among the highest taxpayers and exporters in various categories for voluntarily paying their taxes and increasing the country’s exports.
On the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the FBR organized Tax Excellence Awards-2024 ceremony to acknowledge the compliant taxpayers and leading exporters for their contributions to the national economy.
The Prime Minister was the Chief Guest on the occasion which was also attended by the cabinet ministers including the Finance Minister, Chairman FBR, President FPCCI, President PBC and senior officials from various government departments/ministries.
The Prime Minister also announced many incentives for taxpayers including issuance of Blue Passports, Pakistan Honour Cards and honorary titles of ambassadors of the country to recognize their contributions.
