A major attempt to smuggle gold from Multan Airport was foiled

The largest operation in the history of Pakistan at Multan Airport of Immigration, the big attempt to smuggle gold has failed.

According to details 16 kg gold was recovered from the baggage of the passenger, 10 bricks of different weights were included in the recovered gold, the accused Muhammad Tanveer was going to Dubai by Fly Dubai flight number FZ 340, the accused submitted his passport for immigration clearance.

The passport was presented at the counter, the accused could not satisfy the authorities on the questions asked during the immigration, after traveling repeatedly, the belongings of the accused were called for checking, during the search, 16 kg gold was recovered from the belongings of the accused.

The belongings of the accused were checked after being cleared by all relevant institutions, the accused had hidden the goods in the secret compartments of the bag, the scope of the investigation against the arrested accused has been widened.

Also regarding the supporting elements of the accused. Investigation is on. The accused is being handed over to FIA Composite Circle Multan for further legal action. More arrests are expected during the investigation.
