About this offering
A producing date palm grove on the edge of Siwa Oasis, planted in 2014 and now in its strongest bearing years. 300 palms across Siwi (a soft, early-ripening variety prized locally) and Saidi (a firmer variety suited to export) are drip-irrigated from a single licensed desert well. Harvest runs August to October; roughly half the crop is sold fresh or semi-dried to Cairo wholesale markets, and the export-grade portion is packed and shipped by an Alexandria-based exporter under a standing arrangement. A resident crew handles pollination, thinning and harvest — date palms are hand-pollinated, and yield depends on that work being done on time each spring.

Risk factors
Yield depends on hand-pollination being completed on schedule each spring. Fresh-date prices are seasonal and fall sharply late in the harvest window. Well output can vary with the regional water table. Returns are targets, not promises.
Fees
