Commercial activities on Pakistan-Iran border continues as normal

Despite the tense situation between Pakistan and Iran following the violation of Pakistan’s airspace by Iran, trade activities are continuing as usual on the border of the two countries.

In Pakistan, trade is going on in the border cities of Taftan, Gwadar, Kech, Panjgur and Washik bordering Iran.

The Customs officials at Taftan told national Media that Taftan border checkpoints offices are open and commercial activities are going on as usual.

On Thursday, more than 100 trucks were transported from Pak-Iran border in Taftan, including rice from Pakistan, Potatoes and other commodities went to Iran while LPG and other petroleum products came to Pakistan from Iran.
