The Customs Intelligence Karachi made 61 huge cases worth of Rs.1.116 billions against smugglers involved in smuggling of non duty paid goods and vehicles during month of October 2023.
According to details the Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Karachi Habib Ahmad said that under the direction of DG Customs Intelligence Faiz Chadhar the Directorate made huge Crackdown and seized large scale of NDP vehicles, smuggled good along with offending vehicles (vehicles use for carrying smuggled goods) those were tried to sent to other parts of the country.
The document provided by Directorate of I&I Karachi said that from 5th October to 31st october 2023 the Anl comprises betel nuts, foreign origin skimmed milk, cloth, plastic shoppers, grease, tyres without tubes in different sizes.The document also showed that I&I Karachi seized foreign origin Digital satellite receivers, Portable DVDs/ CD players, Window air conditioners, Dinner sets, Various type of crockery, Foreign origin hair sprays, Indian origin gutka, Polyethylene MD/HDPE, Monosodium glutamate (ajinomoto), Warning flash Beacon, China origin bangles, Black pepper, Gas blower heater (instant, gas burner), Camper gas bulenc gas cartridge, Hair dryer, Artificial imitation jewellery, Hot melt Adhesive, USA made (Almond without and with shell), Indian made Cashew nuts, Pistachio with shells, Small cardamon, Brazil made black peeper, KIshmish.
During month of October 2023 the I&I Karachi further seized Laptops, Hard drives, CPUs, SSD hard drives, key boards, HSD oil, fabric cloth, ladies suiting cloth, Iran origin Chibo UHT cream, swit scoket boards, Glass beads, Artificial jewelry, Grinding disc, Belt buckle made of stainless steel, Emergency lights, Spiral belt, Hair accessories, Eye liners, Pump sockets, Filaral lipsticks, Hair band, Eye liners, Eye brow, Cosmetic bottle, Crusher juices, PVC cap, Hair band clips, Plastic casing, empty cosmetic tubes, printer organic conductor drum, Voltmeter AC/DC, OPC Drum, Ice bag bottle, AC Dc coil meter, Automizer, Plastic stopper, Dropper, Joggers, Stopper cap, Burner charcoal, USB 2.0 cable circuit, Diamond resin wheel grinding, Digital meter penal, Lubricant condom the document said.

The document said that the I&I Karachi also seized NDP vehicles comprises Honda Civic, BMW, Suzuki swift 2 numbers, Toyota Hilux, Daihatsu boom car, Toyota premio car, Toyota vitz car and Toyota land cruiser during month of October 2023.
