Quetta Customs seizes smuggled goods worth Rs235 million

In line with the directives of Chief Collector Baluchistan Mohammad Saleem, Customs Quetta is pursuing a rigorous anti-smuggling drive. The intensified efforts have resulted in significant seizures and the recovery of illicit goods with an estimated value of Rs 235million.

During a targeted operation, Kolpur Enforcement unit Inspector Tanveer and his team successfully seized a staggering quantity of Indian Gutkha worth Rs90 million.

Lakpas Field Enforcement Unit In-chyarge SPO Fareed Rind and his team seized smuggled goods wroth Rs90 million including cloth, electronics, urea, sugar and NCP vehicles.

Noshki Field Enforcement Unit Inspectors Nazeer Kurd and Ayaz Khan and team recovered thousands of sacks of urea and sugar. Ziarat Cross Inspector Asif Kareem and team seized 5 NCP vehicles.

The successful operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Collector Enforcement Quetta Irfan ur Rehman and Additional Collector Umer Shafiq. The meticulous planning and execution of the operation were led by Deputy Collector Asad Aleem, Assistant Collector Haseeb Ahmed and the diligent team, comprising inspectors Haroon, Ramiz ul Hasan, Khurram Victor, Arsalan and Kunwar Hasan.
