The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has vehemently rejected the recently inaugurated federal cabinet, branding it a byproduct of illegitimate electoral processes. In a scathing response to the swearing-in ceremony, a party spokesperson on Monday condemned what they characterised as defeated candidates arrogantly assuming positions in a cabinet tainted with allegations of illegitimacy and constitutional violations.
The spokesperson pointedly remarked that the installation of a "fake prime minister" and his accompanying cabinet resembled a perpetuation of an unconstitutional interim government. Criticism was levied against the appointment of individuals previously rejected by the electorate, denouncing it as a mockery of the democratic system. Furthermore, the spokesperson criticised the economic repercussions of appointing individuals allegedly responsible for detrimental economic policies over the past two years.
Emphasising the contentious inclusion of figures such as former caretaker Punjab chief minister Mohsin Naqvi in the federal cabinet, the spokesperson underscored the perceived biased role of the caretaker government and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Accusations were also leveled against the government for purportedly extending undue favours to loyalists of the Sharif and Zardari families in exchange for cabinet positions, which the PTI viewed as a betrayal of democratic principles.
The PTI spokesperson unequivocally rejected the formation of the cabinet based on allegedly falsified electoral documentation, asserting that the Pakistani populace had voiced its opposition to what they termed "imposed criminals."
Describing the actions of defeated individuals as indicative of fear and cowardice, the spokesperson criticised what they perceived as an unlawful suppression of dissenting voices through state coercion. They concluded by urging a cessation of what they deemed as the misuse of state machinery to subvert democracy and warned against exacerbating instability within the nation.
