Shah Faisal Sahu Additional Collector Customs has said that Kaptan Chapal currency has started being used for smuggling, Multan airport customs staff recovered UAE currency worth Rs Rs.2 million from a passenger going abroad.
Additional Collector Customs has told Mahsool.net that 5 suspects have been arrested during the operation at Multan International Airport. 250 foreign mobile phone SIMs issued by a British company have also been recovered from the suspects coming from abroad.
Additional Collector Customs further said that 10 vehicles of smuggled Iranian diesel have also been taken into custody and five FIRs have also been registered in the month of May. And more than three lakh liters of diesel was confiscated
