Additional Collector Enforcement Karachi Inam ullah Wazir informed Mahsool.net that pursuing a credible and secret information the team of Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO), conducted raid on two factories located in Korangi Industrial Area and recovered twelve “12” truck loaded with huge quantity of undyed and unbleached cloth.
The recovered cloth estimated weigh was 20700 Kgs and 20300 Kgs (41 MT in total) respectively of undyed and unbleached smuggled grey cloth.
The seized cloth total market value was Rs60 million in this regards two seperate cases have been registered vide FIR No. ASO-136/2022-HQ and FIR No. ASO-137/2022-HQ against the accused whereas further Investigations have been initiated.
