The Convener of FPCCI, has praised the formation of the Super Audit Team. However, he highlighted the need to audit green channel imports, suggesting that the Super Audit Team should also handle these Goods Declarations (GDs).
Sharjeel Jamal Convener of FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry) pointed out that Chief Collector Nasir Jameel should address the delays in hearings before Deputy Collectors and Assistant Collectors, particularly in the West, where the workload is heavy. This situation is causing difficulties for importers and agents.
He proposed that paperwork (reviews) and hearings should be assigned to separate officers to save traders’ time and improve efficiency.
