The Customs Intelligence Rawalpindi has seized various type of smuggled goods including NDP vehicles in worth of Rs 35.718 million.
Intelligence official Muzamil Shah told Mahsool.net that during last few days under supervision of DG Customs Intelligence, Director and Additional Director Directorate of Rawalpindi made crackdown against tax offenders and smugglers.
The IO told that pursuance of the directives of the Director General the following seizures of the goods and vehicles have been made by Directorate (I&I)-Customs, Rawalpindi During 13 December to 25th December the Customs Intelligence squad seized foreign origin Cigarettes brand Mond & Milano (5850-slevees) and Toyota Oil Filters conceal in special design cavities recovered from truck coming from Quetta value Rs. 25 million.
As well as the squad seized Daihatsu Boom Car Model, 2007 in value of Rs. 1.9 million, a Toyota Vitz Car Model 2007 in Value of Rs. 2.2 million, a Toyota Aqua Car Model-2014 in worth of Rs3.2 million, Toyota Vitz Car Model-2000 in value of Rs.1.8 million, a Suzuki Swfit Car Model-2007 in value of Rs2.2 million.
The I&I Rawalpindi squad also seized foreign origin Green Tea and Hair Colour shampoo i worth of Rs1.2 million.
