Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Peshawar anti smuggling have seized 119% extra value’s smuggled goods during first 11 months of current financial year against same correspondence period.
According to officially shared comparative performance sheet of Financial Year (FY) July to May 2023-24 and same period of FY2022-23.
The document showed that during month of May 2023-24 the Directorate seized smuggled goods in value of Rs.973.64 million while it was seized Rs.592.78 million worth’s smuggled goods during last financial year’s Identical period.
In comparative analysis the Directorate of Peshawar Customs I&I made 64% high ranking in anti smuggling performance during May2023-24 against same past period.
The performance chart showed that during July to May FY23-24 the Directorate seized smuggled goods in worth of Rs.3509.19 million whereas it seized Rs.1605.52 millions value of smuggled goods during same correspondence period.
During first 11 month of current financial year the Directorate have surpassed anti smuggling revenue in worth Rs.1903.67 millions against same correspondence period.
