Can’t get bigger than this: Internet reacts to Pakistan’s first star-studded Netflix original

Recently, news broke of Pakistan's debut Netflix original being announced. As per Variety, the series, titled Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, will star Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Bilal Ashraf, Maya Ali, Iqra Aziz, Hania Aamir, Khushaal Khan, Nadia Jamil, Omair Rana, and Samina Ahmed. 

This groundbreaking show will mark Netflix's maiden venture into Pakistan-themed content, and its star-studded ensemble promises to captivate audiences worldwide. As soon as this news broke, the internet burst forth with a multitude of reactions. 

"Congratulations, Iqra," penned the star's husband, Yasir Hussain. "Now, I'll watch my wife on Netflix at home. So proud of you. Keep rocking." The Suno Chanda star replied saying, "Thank you, baby. You’re my ultimate support system! Love you."

Apart from this, the world of X (formerly Twitter) also consisted of people reacting to this spectacular news. Iqra's sister, Sidra Aziz, also congratulated the star. "Thank god the news is out. couldn’t keep it in any longer. Super proud of Iqra, too." Renowned journalist Haroon Rashid ditched his X hiatus to comment on the news as well. "This news is big enough to break my hiatus from Twitter, a.k.a X to say…This is wild! Cannot wait!" wrote Haroon.

A back-handed compliment was also passed when one X user said, "I don't care how bad the script is or how terrible the acting might be, but I will be watching. Can't wait."
