The Anti Smuggling Organization Karachi seized huge quantity of used bullets shells of 7.62 and 12.32 calibre, smuggled suiting cloth rolls, ladies cloth, Gutkha and tyres and arrested three persons.
According to details told by Inam ullah Wazir Additional Collector Customs told Mehsool.net that pursuing the secret information on 05-08-2022.
The Staff of Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO), Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Karachi posted at Mochko Check Point, RCD Highway intercepted a bus enroute to Quetta-Karachi.
Wazir told that on search of the bus it transpired that the bus was especially engineered for the purpose of smuggling he added that when the customs staff open of the cavities resulted into recovery of huge no of used bullets Shells of 7.62 and 12.32 calibre.
The staff further recover of suiting cloth rolls, ladies cloth, Gutkha and tyres has also been affected. The total value of seized goods and vehicle was determined to be PKR 24 million. Three persons have been arrested and Further investigation is in progress the Additional Collector informed.
