The ASO Islamabad seized smuggled goods in worth of Rs.163 million comprises NDP vehicles and various kind of goods.
According to document provided by (Anti Smuggling Organization) ASO Islamabad that under guidance of Collector (Model Customs Collect orate)MCC Islamabad Hassan Sahib Sheikh the ASO showed very good performance during month of November 2022, the document showed that during the said month the ASO made 11 numbers of seizers of smuggled goods and intercepted numbers of 18 (Non Duty paid Vehicles) NDP.
The Sources of ASO informed this correspondent that during above month the Anti smuggling squad seized smuggled goods in worth of Rs.Rs.67 million while it seized NDP vehicles in value of Rs.63 million the goods those were seized during said period were comprises 158240 kilograms of hot steel coil, smuggled cloth, betel nuts, smuggled ciragettes, Rani float, coconut, toffees, Dove beauty cream and various miscellaneous smuggled goods.
Deputy Collector Jalal Zahidi tell the correspondent that ASO is making all its efforts to cope with smuggling activities under its jurisdiction with available resources. Ends
