ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said on Thursday it was his administration’s top priority to resolve the issues facing local business community by fixing Pakistan’s tax system and listening to the concerns of traders and industrialists.
Faced with a tough economic situation, Pakistan’s top officials, including the army chief General Asim Munir, have held a string of meetings with influential businesspeople to seek their input and assure them about the game plan to put the country on a positive financial trajectory.
