ANF has arrested 2 accused residents of Khyber who were supplying drugs to various schools near Peshawar Hayatabad ring road and recovered huge quantity of drugs from their possession and registered cases.
According to the spokesperson of the Anti-Smuggling Force, ANF has seized huge quantities of drugs in various operations against smugglers and drug dealers in different cities of the country and registered cases against the accused, the details of which are as follows.
A case has been registered after recovering 4 kg 890 grams of hashish from the possession of drug smugglers who supplying drugs in schools of Hayatabad, and Peshawar.
Similarly, 50 kg 400 grams of hashish and 15 kg 600 grams of opium were recovered from a truck near Swabi Toll Plaza from possession of resident of Chitral and Upper Dir and arrested both suspects.
The ANF made another case against drug traffickers coming from Peshawar to Lahore in 2 different successful operations recovered 49 kg 200 grams of hashish and 31 kg 200 grams of opium from a car near Kala Shah Kaku Interchange and arrested the accused resident of Peshawar and registered a case.
Meanwhile, 19 kg 200 grams of hashish and 1 kg 800 grams of opium were recovered from the car near Ravi Toll Plaza and 2 accused residents of Charsada and Nowshera were arrested whereas further proceedings are underway to register cases against all the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
