The Customs Intelligence Rawalpindi raids a warehouse near Sangjani against smugglers and seizes smuggled goods in worth of Rs.7.6 millions.
In pursuance of credible information by Faiz Ahmad DG (Director General) Customs Intelligence Islamabad.
The ASO (anti smuggling organization) team of Customs Intelligence Rawalpindi under the supervision of Director I&I Irfan Wahid the ASO staff raided a warehouse near Sangjani (Islamabad ) and recoverd huge quantity comprising 5500 (fifty five thousand) packets of foreign origin cigarettes were recovered along with 0.7 matric tons of betel nuts and 1.3 matric tons of polyester furnishing fabric.
The total value of seized goods is around Rs.7.6 millions.The case has been registered while further investigation is under way.
