The I&I (Intelligence and Investigation) Rawalpindi has seized smuggled 2100kg Rexine, foreign origin biscuits, tyres and 2 NCP (non customs duty paid) vehicles in worth of Rs.20 million, the ASO squad made above cases in last two days.
Sources informed that under direction of Additional Director Rawalpindi Shahid Jan the ASO squad comprised IO (Intelligence Officer) Nasir Khan and Supertandent Muzamil Shah along with supporting staff signal a Hyundai pickup bearing Reg no LES-08-4726 and detained it because it had no legal document of loaded goods, the details of seized goods are as under.
- F/O (foreign origin) artificial leathe (Rexine). 2100 kgs approx
- Biscuits. F/O 25 kgs
- F/o. tyres. 68 no.
The sources further informed that during last two days Car cell of Rawalpindi intercepted two offending vehicles comprised NCP vehicle Nissan Jeep model 2006 ,detained by IO Masood Saeed with car cell team under the supervision of Supertandent ASO Rawalpindi.
The care cell also seized another Toyota Fielder Car model 2015 during same day, it was detained by IO Khalid with car cell team under the supervision of Supertandent ASO reportedly NCP.
