ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s caretaker prime minister, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, who is due to arrive in the United States on Monday, will address the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on September 22, Pakistan state media reported on Monday.
World leaders and delegates gather at the UN Headquarters in New York in September every year to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world in line with the UN charter. The annual session would begin on September 19 and conclude after a week on September 26.
